FATORGIS

FatorGis was the first brazilian company to offer geotecnological solutions and aplications to the brazilian market, in 1991.

The the company was also responsible for the creation of the first brazilian magazine in this content at Latin America (revista FATOR GIS, 1993), for the maintenance of the FatorGis Portal and for the realization of the GIS BRASIL (national event, with 10 editions made).

Starting in 2007, the company begins to offer it´s services to the market, keeping, therefore, the sections aimed to promote and spread technology, like market news, academic articles, courses informations, successfull cases and informative bulletins.

COMPANY HISTORY

1991   The company begins to offer training aimed to cartography and editing books in Geo area.

1993   Launch of Fator Gis - The Geoprocessing Magazine published quarterly with the will of promoting the segment.

1994   The first GisBrasil event is realized.

1998   The press media, magazine, is substituted by the internet media.

1999 e 2000   The event Gis Brasil begins to be realized at Salvador, contributing to the spread of importance of geotecnologies to the brazilian northeast.

2003 e 2004   The event Gis Brasil happens in São Paulo, at the Anhembi expo pavilion.

2007   Fator Gis begins to offer services of geoprocessing to the market.
