REMOTE SENSING

THE VISION AND THE PRODUCTS OF FATOR GIS TO THE REMOTE SENSING AND SATTELITE IMAGES.

Remote sensing is defined in many different ways by several authors, being the most usual definition the one adopted by Avery's and Berlin (1992) and the Meneses (2001): a technique to obtain informations about the objects through data collected by instruments that didn't touch the investigated objects.
For not having physical contact, the data transmission (from the object to the sensor) only can be done through Electromagnetic Radiation, for being this the only energy that can propagate in the vacuum. Considering the Electromagnetic Radiation as energy, the Remote Sensing can be defined as a measure of energy exchange that results in the interaction between the energy contained in the Electromagnetic Radiation of a determined wave size and the one that is inside the atoms and molecules of the study object.
Thinking this way, FatorGIS works actively with the main sensors carrying on board diverse satellites being the main ones these below:
